WebJul 17, 2024 · Mostly the issue is that you are thinking about this all wrong. The axe will always do 1d12 + modifiers damage. However, as your character levels up, you will get access to features and abilities that let you swing that axe multiple times on your turn, potentially dealing more damage over time.
